2.5e: New Serial Numbers

Starting with HyperLink 2.5e, HyperLink is switching to a new serial number system. Your previous registration key for 1.0-2.5a will not work in 2.5e, or in any future version.

Replacement serial numbers are free (excluding postage, if you prefer to receive your replacement by postal mail) for all currently registered users of 1.0 through 2.5a. Here's how to obtain your replacement.

  • The fastest way is to E-mail technical support at spectre@deepthought.armory.com. You must include your old registration key sequence in the text of the E-mail, that is, the code(s) you had to type in order to register your HyperLink copy. If you're not sure what this is, ask! A new serial number, specific to you, will be generated and E-mailed back in no more than two to three business days.

  • We strongly using E-mail if at all possible, simply because it's faster and easier for everyone.

Nevertheless, if you are unable to E-mail in your old key, you may also obtain a replacement serial number by postal mail. Enclose a self-addressed and stamped! envelope with your mail. In addition, you must include your old registration key sequence in the letter. A new serial number, specific to you, will be provided in the SASE and mailed back. Allow approximately 2-4 weeks (or more for overseas). We are not responsible for envelopes sent with insufficient postage!

Send the self-addressed, stamped! envelope, and your old registration key sequence, to: Computer Workshops, ATTN: HyperLink 2.5e Serial Numbers, 3612 Birdie Drive, La Mesa, CA 91941-8044.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause you, and hope that the new benefits of easier registration (using the new separate registration application; see the reply E-mail for information) and increased program security will be helpful to you. Thanks for being our customer!
